Caibidil #5 - Cosaint i gcoinne Pegasus

Amharc

Gach bliain, infheistíonn rialtais, gníomhaireachtaí forfheidhmithe dlí, míleataigh, agus corparáidí na billiúin dollar chun earraí spiaireachta mailíseacha a thógáil agus a cheannach -- bogearraí atá deartha chun feiste úsáideora a insileadh go ciúin agus ligean d'ionsaitheoirí an t-ábhar a fheiceáil gan bhrath.

I mbliana, léirigh Tionscadal Pegasus go raibh úsáideoirí den chineál seo earraí spiaireachta, ar a dtugtar Pegasus agus a tógadh ag an ngrúpa NSO, tar éis díriú ar na fóin a bhaineann leis na mílte duine i níos mó ná 50 tír, lena n-áirítear feidhmeannaigh gnó, polaiteoirí, iriseoirí, agus gníomhaithe cearta daonna.

San eagrán seo de PrivChat, bí páirteach i Likhita agus Etienne Maynier ó Amnesty International agus John Scott-Railton ó Citizen Lab chun na nithe seo a leanas a phlé:

  • Cad is féidir le daoine aonair, iriseoirí, gníomhaithe, agus cosantóirí chearta an duine a dhéanamh chun iad féin a chosaint ar earraí spiaireachta sofaisticiúla?
  • Cén cineál eagraíochtaí is féidir linn tacú leo chun stop a chur leis an mí-úsáid seo?
  • Cé atá ag obair ar bhogearraí níos sábháilte agus níos príobháidí a bhfuil muinín againn astu?

Roger Dingledine, Co-Founder of the Tor Project, will join us as our host and moderator.
